Artist’s Statement

“Why do you paint so many Buddhas?" people ask me.

Buddha represents divine love and grace at the highest level. His being emanates a sense of calmness and tranquility. I believe he has the miraculous power to forgive violence and willful destruction and to bestow peace. We need more Buddhas in our lives.

I color my world with the brightest paint I can find because the world needs more joy, and color makes me happy. I paint subjects that excite my imagination. I hope you, too, will immerse yourself in my paintings.
