Sara the Spiritual Teacher and Sarita, the Artist join forces, merging into a new direction and a new Journey heralded by the publishing of her new book, Journey to Self-Discovery, a guide to Spiritual, Artistic expression, 2009

For the last 45 years, I have been leading women's empowerment workshops. As early as 1971, my old friend, Lucia Capacchione and I began "the Creative Woman" workshops in Los Angeles. Lucia's path led her to develop her Creative Expressive Arts Program and 12 books (see my links) Mine led me to Jungian Psychotherapy Training and becoming a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for many years and creating the Sonoma County Writing Practice Workshops, Women's Mysteries Journey and Urban Shaman year-long intensives. Now my new book and a new direction.

The book has been gestating since mid 2000 when I saw the healing power of Women's Mysteries/Urban Shaman Journey. These programs blended the celebration of the cycles of the year, with rituals, personal sharing and healing, singing, chanting, meditation, writing and art . My new book offers a step by step primer to enable many more people to experience the healing potentional and just plain fun of the processes.

In all the groups, creative, spiritual expression has been the centerpiece, marrying both the right and left sides of the brain, so essential to creating a balanced, healthful life.
